Palong Shaak or Spinach is a super-food and it's rich in Iron and Vitamins. And when it is clubed with some other veggies, it becomes super healthy and super tasty. The term "Ghonto" means a mixture of two or more veggies with right amount of spices. The popular "Ghonto" dishes are Mochar Ghonto, Lau Ghonto, Pepe Ghonto, Muri Ghonto, Bandhakopir Ghonto and the list is never-ending. Today in this recipe I will show you how to make Palong Shaaker Ghonto. Here 3-4 other veggies have been clubed with Spinach to make a mixed veg curry or Ghonto with right amount of spices. Here we have used Rohu fish head pieces which is completely optional and you can skip this if you want this dish to be completely veg. Payesh is a very famous Bengali dessert which is prepared at every Bengali household on every special occasion. Serving Payesh is considered as a good start to a occasion. Be it the first grain offered to a 6 months old or as a blessing on someone's birthday, Payesh is a Must. It can prepared with either sugar or Gur (Jaggery). In both way it comes out to be a super tasty dessert. Natun gur or Nalen gur is a type of jaggery which is only available during the winters from the tree of dates.
